Professor Briona Nic Dhiarmada is both Thomas J. & Kathleen O'Donnell Chair of Irish Language and Literature and Professor of Film, Television, and Theatre at the University of Notre Dame. She is a Fellow of the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies, and has published widely on Irish poetry, film, politics and a range of other topics.
